Friday 27th October, Honiara - New Zealand Pacific Business Council (NZPBC) and the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), have strengthened their relationship through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed on October 20th, by the Chair of SICCI, Qila Tuhanuku, and New Zealand’s High Commissioner of the Solomon Islands, Jonathan Schwass, on behalf of NZPBC.

The signing took place at the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce with executive members of the NZPBC, attending virtually.

The MoU underscores the commitment of NZPBC and SICCI to promote economic development and cooperation between New Zealand and the Solomon Islands, with a focus on trade, investment, industrial relations, strategic partnerships and educational initiatives.

NZPBC and SICCI look forward to embracing the growth and potential of this collaborative partnership.
