The Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) has launched its new website at the SME Open Day on Tuesday.
The website, a remake of the previous site, was a project that the Chamber had been working on for the last three months with website developer Pasifik Cloud and support from local designers Adkonect.
The site features strong images and new features that can enable users to access news, pictures, updates, events and sign up functions that can allow interested businesses to join SICCI online and get newsletter subscription.
One main feature of the new website is the members’ portal, a function that can enable members to log in to the website, set up their own contact or company details and access exclusive contents that are only available for SICCI members.
The website was launched by SICCI Board Member, Lilly Lomulo who was honoured to mark the occasion in ceremony.
The website can be accessed on the same web address www.solomonchamber.com.sb
“It’s a great achievement,” says SICCI CEO Dennis Meone.
“I’d like to thank our website developer Pasifik Cloud for the very creative and professional work done and also Adkonect for providing support to the project.”
The website project was led by SICCI Media & Communications Officer, Ernest Ta’asi as part of the Chamber’s new communications strategy for increased visibility and branding.
Ta’asi said the new website gives a new look and feel for the Chamber and provides more opportunities for members or users to interact.
“I’d like to encourage members to try out these new features and take ownership of the website which was built purposely to help business members or organisations get easier access to information and a faster way to do registrations, contact or communicate.”
