The Solomon Islands is currently seeing Business Law reform that will not only improve business registration, but will hopefully reduce the cost and period of time that it takes to start up business form the point of registration to the first transaction. These reform include the passing of a new Companies Act 2009. The Chamber of Commerce is a key supporter of this and other legislation that will improve reliability of the systems for business start up and growth.
